Gallery Associate and Consultant, Eleanor Harwood Gallery, Minnesota Street Projects, San Francisco

September 2018 - Present

  • Acts as a liaison and consultant between clients and the represented artists within the gallery.

  • Occasionally curates exhibitions, such as "What Is Left Behind", for the gallery based on gained insight of local Bay Area and Californian artist communities.

  • Edits and periodically composes the Press Release for exhibitions and events.

  • Drafts emails and other digital announcements for gallery updates and events for Director’s approval.

  • Manages data entry, financial, and CMS platforms such as QuickBooks, Artsy, Artlogic, and FileMaker Pro for the gallery's inventory, sales, and expenses. 

  • Plans, produces, and executes events within the gallery and Art Fairs.

Assistant to the Art Director of The Midway Gallery, The Midway Creative Complex, San Francisco, CA

June 2018 - Present

  • Worked part-time situated under the gallery's Art Director Kelsey Issel.

  • Sat in for gallery hours once to two times a week.

  • Instructed gallery visitors about the artists on view and answered any of their questions regarding the gallery and complex.

  • Helped install shows, documented them on Instagram, created engagement through stories and messages, and kept the Instagram up to date.

  • Promoted gallery events through local Bay Area websites.

  • Shadowed Kelsey and other employees' during their daily tasks and worked events when needed.

Teaching Assistant (TA), California College of the Arts, CA

January 2018 - May 2018

  • Acted as a TA under the professors and artists Kari Marboe and Barney Haynes for the undergraduate class Digital Tools.

  • Co-taught and guided course work for the undergraduate students ranging from sophomores to seniors through the use of 3D modeling programs such as Fusion 360 and Meshmixer.

  • Explained lesson plans, assignments, and answered student’s classwork related questions when needed.

  • Individually spoke to students about their work, process, and grading.

  • Assisted grading of student’s work throughout the semester.

  • Dealt with the PR aspect of the magazine.

  • Employed as a TA along side professor Megan Werner, Professional Architect, for the class

      3D : Shifting 2 + 3 Dimensions.

  • Acted as a resource and co-professor to freshmen and sophomore undergraduate students.

  • Explained lesson plans, assignments, and answered student’s classwork related questions when needed.

  • Graded student’s work throughout the semester. 

  • Took part of the program’s Final Reviewing process, where I was included in a panel composed of 4 judges

      who critiqued students’ yearly work. 

Artist at Muse Paint Bar, Great Neck, NY

April - July 2016

  • Switched with other employees between positions: Lead Instructor, Assistant Instructor, Bar Tender,

      and Food Runner. 

  • Taught/helped guests to paint an image during public sessions and private events.

  • Ran the bar, food orders, and the cash register.

  • Accomplished daily duties such as, clean up, counting the cash drawer, inputing invoices, and

      restocking art/drink supplies.

  • Executed inventory weekly.

Internship with Researcher/Artist Fellow at EyeBeam, Brooklyn, NY

February - May 2016

  • Assisted Torkwase Dyson two to three times a week with daily studio activities.

  • Prepped gallery shows and other exhibitions of Dyson’s artwork.

  • Painted, sanded, packed artwork for transportation, and ran supply errands.

  • Worked with a laser cutter for certain projects.

  • Maintained social media for Dyson’s artwork/shows.

Internship with the Board Director of Now and There, Boston, MA

October 2014 - May 2015

  • Served as a part time artist and research assistant for Kate Gilbert of Now and There.

  • Aided with gathering research for establishing the non-profit public art organization, Then and Now.

  • Collaborated the research for Connecticut College Fashion students’ lesson plans. 

  • Organized, converted, and filed projects into digital form.
